Amazing customer service!! Called on a late Wednesday afternoon for some urgent repairs, Nate made it happen next day, fixed issues, and found some critical problems that other companies missed. He had the parts same day had another tech on site Friday to finalize repairs. Most others may not have even made the first trip for a few days….all during a -20C cold snap! I will be using Distinct for all my hvac needs and will be singing their praise to family and friends!!
I have used Distinct Heating & Cooling for many years. From last minute emergencies to the purchase, install and maintenance of my current furnace. Their service is exemplary. I would definitely recommend using DH&C.

We had our furnaces and humidifiers serviced. In addition we had two digital thermostats and sensors installed. All work was done perfectly. Jordan was a delight to work with. He was polite, friendly, informative and really knows his stuff. In addition he was always on time and kept us in the loop at all times. Erin was also very helpful in helping us to schedule our appointments. I can’t recommend Distinct highly enough. Our experience with them was outstanding. If I could have given 10 stars I would have.

My furnace served me well since 1987. I called Distinct and Nate met me the next day to explain the options . He provided a firm estimate that afternoon for high efficiency furnace, humidifier, air filter and air conditioning. The 3 day estimate was wrapped up by Kristian & Jaden in 2 1/2 days with old equipment hauled away and everything looking good. I can use my phone for indoor/ outdoor conditions remotely . Very Pleased.

I've been a Distint client for several years, and I trust the service of this company, I usually gets furnace tunning, and last service from Ed who installed a humidifier in connection with the furnace was very professional. Got a quote from Nate. He was very thorough on the scope and the quote was actually broken down unlike most of these other companies. Was happy to explain any of the little details that others also just glazed over.
Erin was great to deal with for bookings. The install was done by Kristian & Jaden. Was a pleasant experience. They definitely had it a bit easier as I removed a wall for them before hand and also no snow yet. They were tolerant of my hovering. Install is very clean.
Shout out to the guy they brought in to do the concrete coring, he did exactly as he set out to do and had minimal water intrusion.
The city and gas inspections just passed. First try. The thoroughness of Nate also helped in that due to again the little details even about smoke and CO detectors.
Distinct will be the only HVAC company I recommend.

My furnace was making some noise that concerned me a bit. A conversation with Nate at Distinct impressed me much and I immediately realised the deep technical expertise. Distinct just completed an A/C and humidifier installation at our house (a 1960s bungalow). The quality of the workmanship is second to none- the reason we only rely on Distinct for all our HVAC needs. Quality is something you should receive if you pay for it, and Distinct holds up their end of the deal every time. We really appreciated how clean, efficient, and knowledgeably the job was done. Kristian (and partner) did an amazing job and went the extra mile cleaning up the original drainage to accommodate the new install. It looks fantastic along with the rest of their work. We had our air conditioner installed last week by Distinct, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Nate, the owner, visited our home a couple of weeks ago to assess what kind of unit would best suit our needs. Having an efficient furnace, and a company that installs and does yearly checks to make sure it's running properly and having the same staff over years tells me that this is a true and trusted company to be putting my Warmth in their hands. Our old furnace was a mess, and Distinct came in and put in a new furnace and heat pump for us. The install was very professionally done, they take the time to do every step not just right, but clean and well put together. Great experience, and I would highly recommend if you need any HVAC work.

Had Distinct come to our house a few times for various jobs. Each time I appreciate the work that they do. On the last occasion Ed from Distinct finished his job, left. Immediately afterwards I noticed an issue and then gave him a call. He was back within minutes and fixed this new issue. Our family recently moved into a new house which had an old Air Conditioning unit which wasn't working at all. This was just as Calgary was starting to hit 30 degree temperatures... We did some research on Heat Pumps and decided that was what we wanted for our home. I reached out to Distinct Heating & Cooling to explore further. Nate came by the house and did a very thorough look over our existing system. He walked us through options we could look at and went over things in detail. He was very up front about the work that would need to be done and the costs. We decided to go with the Heat Pump and put in a new High Efficiency Furnace. Nate was there for day one of the installation and we also had Kristian and Jaden there for the work. It was a two and a half day project and it went very well. Like I read in other reviews, Kristian and Jaden were tidy, friendly and informative with us. They answered any questions that we had and explained all that had been set up once the work was done. The Heat Pump has worked very well and we're absolutely happy to have installed it. It cools the house nicely and works well with our Solar Panels (which power the house). We had a very good experience with Distinct and would absolutely recommend them.

Our family recently moved into a new house which had an old Air Conditioning unit which wasn't working at all. This was just as Calgary was starting to hit 30 degree temperatures... We did some research on Heat Pumps and decided that was what we wanted for our home. I reached out to Distinct Heating & Cooling to explore further. Nate came by the house and did a very thorough look over our existing system. He walked us through options we could look at and went over things in detail. He was very up front about the work that would need to be done and the costs. We decided to go with the Heat Pump and put in a new High Efficiency Furnace. Nate was there for day one of the installation and we also had Kristian and Jaden there for the work. It was a two and a half day project and it went very well. Like I read in other reviews, Kristian and Jaden were tidy, friendly and informative with us. They answered any questions that we had and explained all that had been set up once the work was done. The Heat Pump has worked very well and we're absolutely happy to have installed it. It cools the house nicely and works well with our Solar Panels (which power the house). We had a very good experience with Distinct and would absolutely recommend them.
